Veterans Day 2014 at Luxembourg American Cemetery

The 52nd Fighter Wing Honor Platoon and Color Guard participated in the 2014 Veterans Day Ceremony at Luxembourg American Cemetery.

More than 700 attendees gathered at Luxembourg American Cemetery for the 2014 Veterans Day Ceremony.  The ceremony included an invocation, remarks by special guests, the laying of wreaths, the playing of “Taps” and the national anthem, and a benediction.

Ceremony participants and organizations included  the U.S Ambassador to Luxembourg Robert Mandell, Commander of the 21st Sustainment Command Maj.  Gen. John O’Connor, Commander of the  52nd Fighter Wing Col.  Peter M. Bilodeau, Vice Commander of the 52nd Fighter Wing Col. Lars R. Hubert, Command Chief of the 52nd Fighter Wing Chief MSgt. Brian J. Gates, Chaplains Office of the 52nd Fighter Wing Capt. Aaron L. Thorne, U.S. Veterans Friends Luxembourg, the Patton Foundation, U.S. Vietnam Veteran Joseph Braun,  Marine Detachment U.S. Embassy Luxembourg,  52nd Fighter Wing Firing Detail, Honor Platoon, and Bugler, and Boy Scout Troop 69 Kaiserslautern.
