Past: World War I Centennial Ceremony to Mark Role of 1st Division in World War I

To coincide with Memorial Day weekend, a ceremony at Cantigny Monument in France on May 26, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. will mark the role of the 1st Division in World War I. Attendance is free and open to the public.

In Dinozé, France, French citizens gathered at Epinal American Cemetery to honor an American soldier who died more than seven decades ago. 
President George H.W. Bush, who died on November 30, 2018, paid his respects at multiple ABMC cemeteries during the course of his lifetime.
During Memorial Day weekend 2019, ABMC sites throughout the world will pay tribute to the men and women honored overseas.
