North Africa American Cemetery reopens
In keeping with guidance from local authorities, North Africa American Cemetery reopened to the public on March 15, 2021.
Some areas such as the visitor buildings will remain closed to the public in accordance with local guidance to help ensure the safety of staff and visitors. In addition, visitors are asked to respect social distancing and follow guidance from cemetery personnel to help ensure the safety of all.
North Africa American Cemetery is the only cemetery maintained by American Battle Monuments Commission in Africa.

No matter the circumstances, we continue to honor the service, achievements, and sacrifice of the more than 200,000 U.S. service members buried and memorialized at our sites, fulfilling Gen. John J. Pershing’s promise that “time will not dim the glory of their deeds.”
