Vice President Kamala Harris visits Suresnes American Cemetery (01)

On November 10, 2021, in honor of Armistice and Veterans Day, Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband visited Suresnes American Cemetery, just outside Paris, France, and paid their respects to the American fallen service members from WWI and WWII who are memorialized there.

On Veterans Day, November 11, 2021, ABMC cemeteries throughout the world will pay tribute to the men and women buried and memorialized overseas.
Due to regulations in some areas where our cemeteries are located, some ceremonies may not be open to the public.

The memorial area at Normandy American Cemetery is shown in the reflecting pool.

This week, maintenance work began at Normandy American Cemetery to repair and renovate the drainage in front of the Memorial as well as repair the basin wall. This will require removal of asphalt and drainage of the basin itself.

Lafayette Escadrille Memorial and Cemetery

Due to recent storm damage, Lafayette Escadrille Memorial Cemetery is currently closed.
The cemetery will reopen Saturday, October 23.
