Notes
Corporal Bentley was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was seriously wounded while fighting the enemy on June 10, 1951 and evacuated to the hospital ship "USS REPOSE" (AH-16). He died of those wounds on June 16, 1951.
