Corporal Marrero-Rivera was a Light Weapons Infantryman in Company L, 3rd Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy on "Hill 153" in the Yokkok-chon Valley in the Chorwon Area of North Korea on February 16, 1952. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
