Private First Class Moore was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was wounded by the enemy in South Korea on July 27, 1950 and returned to duty later that day. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on September 19, 1950. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
