Private First Class Moore was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy near Wonju, South Korea on February 28, 1951. He was presumed dead on March 24, 1954. His remains were recovered on May 13, 1992 and were identified on September 18, 2010. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
