First Lieutenant Wilson was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Company H, 2nd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was killed while delaying at the outskirts of Hamhung, North Korea on December 18, 1950. He was buried in a Hungnam UN Cemetery, however his remains have not been recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
