Private First Class Ancel was a member of Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was seriously Wounded in Action by the enemy in North Korea on September 15, 1952 and returned to duty on October 16, 1952. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on February 8, 1953. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
