Private First Class Andino-Perez was a Light Weapons Infantryman in Company A, 1st Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy near Pyoktong, North Korea on December 9, 1950 and died while a prisoner on May 31, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
