Corporal Dillon was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while covering the withdrawal of the 1st Marine Division and the 31st Infantry Regiment near Hungnam, North Korea on December 3, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
