Private First Class Bartola was a radio repairman with Company B, 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea in July and on August 30, 1950 and returned to duty on September 1, 1950. He was Killed in Action while defending his position along the "Pusan Perimeter" near Taegu, South Korea on September 10, 1950. |
