Private First Class Beasley was a member of the 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded while fighting the enemy on "Bunker Hill" in North Korea on September 20, 1952 and died of those wounds later that day before he could be evacuated to Japan. |
