Master Sergeant Rubio was a member of the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on September 22, 1950 and returned to duty on October 10, 1950. He was seriously wounded again near Chipyong-ni, South Korea on February 14, 1951 and died of those wounds the following day. |
