Initially Master Sergeant Swiniarski was a member of the 23nr Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by an enemy missile in South Korea on September 16, 1950 and evacuated to the United States on September 26, 1950. Later, he returned to Korea as a member of the 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on January 8, 1952. |
