Sergeant Wade was a member of the 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on December 1, 1950 and returned to duty on December 21, 1950. He was seriously wounded again on February 12, 1951 and returned on April 14, 1951. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on May 18, 1951. |
