Sergeant Weed was a light weapons infantry leader with the 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy near Kunu-ri, North Korea on November 27, 1950 and returned to duty on January 21, 1951. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Hangye, South Korea on May 18, 1951. |
