Sergeant Weider was a member of the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on January 9, 1951 and returned to duty on January 27, 1951. He was seriously wounded again in North Korea on November 27, 1950 and returned on December 30, 1950. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on March 8, 1951. |
