Corporal Westbrooks was a member of the 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by enemy small arms fire in South Korea on August 3, 1950, evacuated to Japan and returned to duty on September 1, 1950. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 6, 1950. |
