Private First Class Williams was a member of the 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in South Korea on August 11, 1950. He was reportedly murdered in a tunnel near Sunchon, North Korea on October 20, 1950. |
