Master Sergeant Jones was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Headquarters Company, 328th Ordnance Battalion, U.S. Army. He suffered heart failure from alcoholism, being severely emotionally disturbed over his wife's medical condition. He was evacuated to the 1st Platoon, 629th Medical Clearing Company where he died on January 23, 1953. |
