Master Sergeant Knox was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Headquarters Battery, 58th Field Artillery Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division. He developed acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis and was evacuated to the hospital ship USS CONSOLATION (AH-15) near Wonsan, South Korea where he died on November 6, 1950. |
