Corporal Alley was a member of the Heavy Mortar Company, 179th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division. He was involved in a truck accident on "Heartbreak Ridge" in North Korea and taken to the 46th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH), where he died on April 17, 1953. |
