Sergeant McCouliff was a member of the 49th Field Artillery Battalion, 7th Infantry Division. He was seriously injured when a gas stove accidentally exploded and burned him while on duty in Korea. He died at the Tokyo Army Hospital in Japan on July 5, 1951. |
