Fireman Apprentice (E2) Krcil member of the crew of the frigate USS BURLINGTON (PF-51) serving in Korean waters. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in Korea on May 30, 1951. He was presumed dead on May 31, 1952. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
