Radioman Third Class Krampf was a veteran of World War II. During the Korean war he was a crew member of a patrol bomber, P2V-4 Neptune, from Patrol Squadron 26, based at the Naval Air Station Brunswick, Maine. On April 14, 1952, the aircraft had engine failure and hit trees during a forced landing, killing six crew members. |
