Electrician's Mate Second Class Langlois was a veteran of World War II. During the Korean War, he was a crew member of the naval hospital ship "USS BENEVOLENCE' (AH-13). On the night of August 25, 1950, his ship collided with the freighter "MARY LUCKBACK" and sank off San Francisco, California. He drowned while assisting nurses aboard a life raft. |
