Private First Class Johnsen was a member of Company H, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was Killed in Action while covering the withdrawal of friendly forces from the Chosin Reservoir area in North Korea on December 2, 1950. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
