Private First Class Lee was a member of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was Killed in Action while on a rescue mission of fellow marines, trapped by the enemy at Outpost Irene near Panmunjon, Korea on August 17, 1952. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
