USMA Class of June 1943, Major Greene was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was the pilot of a F-51D Mustang night fighter with the 67th Fighter Bomber Squadron, 18th Fighter Bomber Wing. On August 14, 1951, while on a combat mission, he was last seen making a run on a target. He was listed as Missing in Action and was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
