Second Lieutenant Krenek was the pilot of a T-33A Shooting Star fighter with the 25th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, 51st Fighter-Interceptor Group. On April 7, 1953, while on an operational flight, his aircraft crashed off the coast of Korea. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
