Captain Biggs was the pilot of a AT-6D Mosquito observation aircraft with the 6148th Tactical Air Control Squadron, 6147th Tactical Air Control Group. On January 3, 1952, while flying an air-ground control mission, his aircraft was hit by ground fire, exploded, crashed and burned. He was taken Prisoner of War and died while a prisoner on March 31, 1954. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. |
