First Lieutenant Wysocki was the pilot of a F-80C Shooting Star fighter interceptor with the 16th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, 51st Fighter-Interceptor Group. On November 6, 1950, while on a combat mission, his aircraft crashed into a truck on the runway. He was severely injured and died of those injuries. |
