Staff Sergeant Sexton was the engineer of a C-47 Skytrain transport assigned to Headquarters Squadron, Haneda Air Base, Japan. On July 27, 1950, his aircraft crashed into the ocean about 64 miles southwest of Tokyo, killing three on board. |
