Corporal Audley was the Engineer of a C-47 Skytrain transport with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, 4th Air Force. On December 30, 1951, he was enroute from Hamilton AFB to Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, when the aircraft crashed in the Armer Mountains in central Arizona. |
