Captain Wilcox was the pilot of a B-25J Mitchell bomber with Headquarters Squadron, 3511th Combat and Combat Reconnaissance Training Group stationed at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas. He was killed when his aircraft crashed near Golden, Colorado on April 8, 1952, killing all ten airmen on board. |
