Sicily-Rome American Cemetery hosted its annual Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. The Mayor of Anzio, Mr. Bruschini; the Italian Deputy Minister of Defense, Mr. Alfano; the American Ambassador to the Holy See, Mr. Hackett; Commander U.S. 6th Fleet, Vice Admiral Foggo; and the Deputy Commissioner for the city of Nettuno, Ms. Guerriero all participated in the ceremony.
The Walsh University choir sang both the Italian and American national anthems during the ceremony.
