Horticultural Project at Normandy American Cemetery Begins September 2, 2014

Published July 28, 2015

Some limited horticulture work is ongoing at Normandy American Cemetery. This includes re-seeding of grass. During this process, we do limit foot traffic in specific areas for limited amounts of time to ensure the grass can re-grow. However, a family member will never be denied access to a grave site. If you are a family member needing access, please go to the visitor center for assistance.

Other than these limited areas, the plot areas and grave sites are fully accesible.

This project is part of ABMC’s constant effort to ensure these hallowed grounds remain beautiful and expertly maintained. All work is expected to be completed in 2015.
