George Strafford Allen was an American born in Balboa, Canal Zone. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and was assigned to the 1201st Support Squadron at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey. Upon retirement he lived at Ancon, Panama. On January 6, 2009, he died at home and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
