To mark the 70th anniversary of Operation Dragoon and the liberation of Draguignan, France, Rhone American Cemetery hosted two ceremonies on August 16, 2014. Chargé d’Affaires Uzra Zeya and Admiral Mark Ferguson, Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa, laid a wreath during the ceremony organized by the town of Draguignan.
