Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela visited Corozal American Cemetery on August 15th, the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Panama Canal. He visited the grave of John Paul Corrigan, Sr., a Spanish-American War Veteran who worked as a Sanitation District Inspector for the Isthmian Canal Commission.
