On the 96th Anniversary of the World War I Armistice, local citizens and French government officials gathered at Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery to commemorate American involvement in the war. Participants included the Préfèt de la Meuse Isabelle Dilhac, the Deputy Jean-Louis Dumont, former French Secretary of Defense and current Senator Gérard Longuet, and 1st Vice-President of the Conseil Général Denis Cordonnier, and the Mayor of Romagne sous Montfaucon Nicolas Raffa.
