Ninety six years ago, Maj. Oscar F. Miller earned a Medal of Honor for his acts of bravery and courage in helping to liberate the town of Gesnes-en-Argonne, France during World War I. Now, nearly a century later, citizens form the town lay flowers at his gravesite, on dates such as Armistice Day, in memory of his heroic acts.
