WWII veteran Thomas Bristow stands next to the Tuskegee Airmen panel at the Sicily-Rome Visitor’s Center. Bristow was a part of the famed Tuskegee Airmen (332nd Fighter Group), which was an all African-American fighter group. He worked with aircraft sheet metal, specializing in fuel cells.
