Never Forgotten follows the story of Sergeant Paul Maynard, a doughboy from Connecticut. Among the first to volunteer for the Army, Paul survived some of the most brutal fighting American forces endured, including the Battle of Belleau Wood, the Saint-Mihiel Campaign, and the Meuse-Argonne Offensive.

Flanders Field: Remembering Their Sacrifice

This short film serves as an orientation to the Great War, the cemetery, and ABMC. Through historic and modern-day imagery, and first-person recollections from letters, a clearer perspective of the true cost of war is presented.

Battlefield Experience: The Meuse-Argonne Offensive

Designed for the visitor center at Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery, this film presents visitors with an immersive, World War I experience. Scenes include the realities of trench warfare, the brutality of hand-to-hand combat, the effects of poison gas, the limited availability of medical care, and the celebration of the Armistice. The film blends historic footage against this portrayal of the battlefield experience.

The Journey Back

The Journey Back profiles the story of SSgt. Max Chotin who died November 3, 1945, nearly six months after the war in Europe had ended. In this film his son Arthur returns to his final resting place to deliver a meaningful thank you to the Dutch people during the 2015 Memorial Day Ceremony. During his journey back, Arthur meets the Naaijkens family for the first time, the family that has adopted his father’s gravesite.
