Second Lieutenant Adam was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
Notes
Lieutenant Adam was a member of the 181st Signal Depot Company, U.S. Army. He was stricken by acute anterior bulbar poliomyelitis and taken to the 121st Evacuation Hospital where he died on August 26, 1953.
