Major Albright was a decorated veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy northeast of Anju, North Korea on November 4, 1950.
