Notes
Private First Class Allen initially was a member of the 187th Airborne Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on May 28, 1951 and returned to duty on July 16, 1951. He was reassigned to the 17th Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was wounded again in North Korea on November 29, 1951 and died of those wounds later that day.
