Technical Sergeant Alloway was a member of the 18th Special Operations Squadron. On June 7, 1970, he was a crew member of a Fairchild Packet cargo aircraft (AC-119K) that crashed offshore in South Vietnam. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
